Volunteer Opportunities

Families can fulfill their volunteer requirements by working at the events/venues listed below.

Volunteer opportunities are listed and claimed on our online Dibs system at the Dibs Volunteer System link below. Hours claimed and completed are tracked in your website account information under uTools.

If you registered your player(s) through our FYHA Online Registration, your website account profile has already been added to our Dibs system. Click on the Dibs Volunteer System link below to access our Dibs system and start claiming volunteer opportunities.

If your registered you player(s) via Walk-In or Mail-In registration, your website account profile must be added to our Dibs system by the FYHA Website Administrator for you to have access to the Dibs Volunteer System. Click on the Dibs Account Setup link below and complete the instructions for submitting a Dibs Setup Request.

Volunteer opportunities are listed on our Dibs System. If you registered your player(s) online or submitted a Dibs Signup Request, you're all set to access your Dibs Account to start claiming and working Dibs Volunteer Items. Just click on the link above and then select Dibs from your list of uTools. Dibs Account Setup

If your registered you player(s) via Walk-In or Mail-In registration, your website account profile must be added to our Dibs system by the FYHA Website Administrator for you to have access to the Dibs Volunteer System. Refund Requests

Click Here for a Refund Request Form or pick one up at the concession stand. All refund requests must be received by April 30th 2009. Any request received after this date will not be honored. Once you have completed your required hours:

  1. Fill in the Refund Request Form on your PC or by hand.
  2. Select  Print Form to print the form. Forms should be mailed to:

FYHA 2008-2009 Volunteer Policy

Volunteers are greatly needed to make a Hockey Association run! Without volunteers contributing many hours, FYHA could simply not exist. We completely appreciate the work that everyone does to help make our children’s hockey experience a positive and enjoyable one. With this in mind, FYHA has made some changes to the volunteer requirements. Please read these requirements carefully and sign up for your volunteer hours at registration or on this website after September 15th, 2008.

Volunteer requirements for the FYHA 2008-2009 Season are as follows:

  • 12 Volunteer Hours/Family: A family is required to volunteer for twelve hours throughout the season.
  • $100.00 Volunteer Check: A separate volunteer check for $100.00 is required at time of registration and will be cashed. FYHA will refund you $100.00 if you complete the twelve hours of volunteer time. You must sign up and complete twelve hours volunteering at the FYHA events defined below (see Volunteer Opportunities). Once you have committed to a specific date, you will be expected to work those hours. If you can not work the hours you have signed up for, you must find a replacement. If you can not find a replacement the FHYA volunteer coordinator may remove you from the schedule. This will be decided on a case by case basis. If you fail to show up for your scheduled shift your refund will be reduced by $25.00 per time. You will not be allowed to reschedule in order to receive a full refund. You will forfeit the $25.00 per time fee.

    • 1 No-Show → Refund will be $ 75.00
    • 2 No-Shows → Refund will be $ 50.00
    • 3 No-Shows/No Time Worked → No Refund
